RenewElec Team - Ph.D. Students
RenewElec is a collaborative effort funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the RK Mellon Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Electric Power Research Institute, the Heinz Endowments, and lead by Carnegie Mellon University's Engineering and Public Policy Department. William Buchanan is a graduate research assistant in the School of Engineering at the University of Vermont. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Vermont in 2010 and is currently pursuing his M.S. degree in electrical engineering. His objective after obtaining his M.S. degree is to use the knowledge and experiences from his research to pursue a career in the renewable energy sector of power engineering.
