RenewElec Team - Ph.D. Students
RenewElec is a collaborative effort funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the RK Mellon Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Electric Power Research Institute, the Heinz Endowments, and lead by Carnegie Mellon University's Engineering and Public Policy Department. Jonathan Voegele received an A.B. in political science from the University of Chicago in 2004 and a M.A. in international politics from New York University in 2006. Currently, he is Editor-in-Chief of the Vermont Law Review. In addition to the Institute for Energy and the Environment, Jonathan has served in various research capacities at the Office of the New York State Attorney General, the Center on Law and Security at NYU School of Law, and the Environmental Tax Policy Institute at Vermont Law School. He was a student clinician at the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Clinic, and spent the summer of 2011 at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Boston.
