RenewElec is a collaborative effort funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, the RK Mellon Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory, the Electric Power Research Institute, the Heinz Endowments, and lead by Carnegie Mellon University's Engineering and Public Policy Department. David P. Yaffe
Mr. Yaffe is a member of the law firm Van Ness Feldman. His energy practice focuses on federal regulation of the electric utility industry by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), electricity supply transactions, and litigation before the FERC and state courts and arbitration involving energy issues. He has particular experience in addressing the unique needs of, and challenges facing, public agencies. Mr. Yaffe is also an adjunct professor of energy law at The George Washington University Law School. He is a frequent speaker on a wide range of energy issues and has published numerous articles in that area.
